International Medical Center (IMC) of West China Hospital, SCU, is a high-level modern medical center with international vision that integrates WCH's top medical resources and international leading medical concept. It consists of three departments: VIP Out-patient Clinic, VIP In-patient Wards and International Medical Department. Adhering to the tenet of serving patients with top-level medical technology in an all-round way, IMC has set up an integrated medical system combining specialty and general practice, along with health maintenance and chronic disease management. IMC provides the most professional, international high-quality, full-range and human-oriented medical services for foreign friends and people from all walks of life.
IMC has an independent building combining outpatient, inpatient and health/chronic disease management services, which is nearly 40,000 square meters. It owns 10 rooms for VIP out-patient clinic, with more than 90,000 outpatients received annually. All the wards of VIP In-patient Department are equipped with single rooms or suites, with a total of 107 sets, and more than 3,000 patients were discharged annually.
IMC has 17 doctors, including 2 chief physicians, 4 associate chief physicians, 8 attending doctors and 3 resident physicians, of whom one doctoral supervisor and one master supervisor. It has professional nursing team with 79 nurses, including 3 associate chief nurses and 18 nurses-in-charge. All the healthcare team members enjoy high professional reputation. It has 1 chairman, 2 vice-chairmen and 6 members of provincial academic institutions.
