The Department of Clinical Nutrition (DCN) is dedicated to the construction and development of clinical nutrition. More than 30 clinical dietitians and nutritionists work in the department. The medical nutrition therapies (MNT) provided by them have always been the most suitable and advanced for individuals with the assistance of a 100,000-grade purification enteral nutrition preparation center, a standardized nutrition evaluation laboratory, and a research and development (R&D) center of specialized diets. 

Prof. Hu Wen, the director of the department, leads all staff with a professional and standardized management and operation mode to undertake the work of medical nutrition therepy(MNT), hospital diets, enteral nutrition (EN), parenteral nutrition (PN) , nutrition consultation, student education and scientific researches in the field of nutriology. DCN has successively won honorary titles of Top-10 DCN in China, the first batch of DCN pilot units, Chinese Clinical Nutrition Demonstration Base, and Registered Dietitian Practice & Teaching Base, etc.
