West China Hospital is an important national base for medical research and innovation in China. It has 9 national and 45 provincial and ministerial level research platforms. There are more than 500 full-time researchers, more than 80 clinical research laboratories, and more than 350,000 ㎡ of laboratory space, mainly distributed in the Science and Technology Park of West China Hospital, Tianfu Life Science and Technology Park, The Jitaian Center and the Xinchuan Chengdu Frontier Medical Center (under construction). Our platform has more than 1,500 faculty members and students working in the laboratory all year round.
