The Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery is a journal managed by the Ministry of Education of People`s Republic of China, and edited by the West China Hospital of Sichuan University as a professionally academic journal.

Purposes: on clinics, to emphasize on the combination of utilization of basic research and clinics, to pay equal attention to theory and practice, to consider both improvement and popularization, and to increase the level of the general surgery doctors for their diagnosis, treatment, and service.

Treasury of Medicine: to introduce domestic and external researches at the front, states in the latest, and information of the importance.
