On the evening of April 14, the Sino-Europe Covid-19 Outbreak Online Exchange, jointly sponsored by China Health Promotion Foundation and West China Hospital of Sichuan University, was held at the International Tele-Medicine Consultation Center of West China Hospital, Sichuan University.

Vice President Cheng Nansheng of West China Hospital was the Chair of the Event. Associate Prof. Liao Xuelian from Critical Care Medicine Department, Director Tang Hong from the Infectious Disease Center; Prof. Luo Fengming from Respiratory & Critical Care Medicine Department shared experience in fighting against COVID-19 both in Chengdu and Wuhan.

Prof. Davide Chiumello, Head of Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at ASST Santi Paolo Carlo Milano of Italy, Prof. Antoni Torres, Chief of Respiratory Intensive Care Unit of Hospital Clínic of Barcelona, Spain, joined the meeting and presented the Covid-19 situation of prevention and control in Italy and Spain. Experts from the three counties also discussed Covid-19 cases and shared a lot of ideas.

On the afternoon of April 10, WCH and the Policlinic Consortium Hospital-University of Bari, Italy, conducted a remote video conference on Covid-19 prevention and control online. Measures, outcomes and experience were shared. President Li Weimin, Vice President Zeng Yong, Vice Director Luo Fengming of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Giovanni Migliore and Prof. Stefano Bronzini of the Policlinic Consortium Hospital-University of Bari and other experts joined the meeting.
