WCH holds West China-Pittsburgh Nursing Development Conference

On the morning of Dec. 15, the West China-Pittsburgh Nursing Development Conference was held in WCH’s 5G remote conference room. The attendees included: Professor Jackie Dunbar-Jacob, dean of the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing; Heads of the Graduate School, the School of Nursing and the International Affairs Office from UPMC; Siew Lee Grand-clement, vice president of International Nursing and Quality, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC); Jeff Bernstein, senior international vice president and managing director in China, along with his team. Professor Cheng Nansheng, vice president of WCH, heads of WCH’s School of Nursing and International Office from WCH, and representatives from the International Office of Sichuan University, attended the meeting.

Both sides had in-depth exchange on the future cooperation plans, and reached cooperation intentions in terms of academic forums, joint courses and training, overseas clinical practice, and exchange of professors, faculty members and students, as well as a preliminary discussion on joint degree education.
