Recently, the 3rd WCH International Pancreas and Spleen Minimally Invasive Surgery Summit Forum & the 4th National Advanced Seminar on Laparoscopic Pancreatic Surgery were held in Chengdu both online and offline, attracting more than 100 offline participants and 8,491 online viewers.
The theme of this conference was “Frontier, Breakthrough and Innovation”. The event invited many distinguished experts to share their insights, including Professor Gagner, who successfully performed the world’s first laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy, Professor Palanivelu, the leading advocate of laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy in the world, Professor Yuichi Nagawa, who presided over the development of the Japanese consensus and guidelines for pancreatic minimally invasive operations, as well as experts from the Harvard Medical School, Peking Union Medical College Hospital and other institutions.
