On March 11th, Prof. Marat Khodjibekov, Chairman
of the Radiological Society of Uzbekistan, Secretary-General Prof. Lalita
Yunusova, Prof. Aziz Kayumov, and others visited WCH's Department of Radiology
for an exchange visit. Experts from both sides had in-depth discussions on the
clinical applications of cardiology, neurology, and AI technologies,
understanding each other's strengths and needs in the field of radiological medicine.
Based on mutual recognition and trust, they agreed to jointly build a
laboratory to advance the development of radiological medicine. An academic
cooperation agreement was signed on-site.
After the meeting, the Uzbek experts
visited the hospital's history museum, the 15T translational platform, and the
intelligent image-reading room, gaining a deep understanding of our hospital's
achievements in technological innovation, clinical application, and research
results in the field of radiological medicine.
This visit has built an academic exchange
platform for both sides, which is conducive to the common progress of
radiological medical technology. It has also injected new energy into medical
cooperation along the "Belt and Road" and promoted cooperation and
exchanges between the two sides in scientific research, clinical practice, and
the cultivation of "Silk Road Talents."
