On April 1st, 2011, invited by Sichuan Enterostomal Professional Committee, Louise Forest Lalande, the president of the World Council of Enterostomal Therapists (WCET) gave lectures to professionals in Sichuan province and visited West China Hospital.

Accompanied by Ningning, the vice director of the Nursing Department of West China Hospital and the chairperson of the Sichuan Enterostomal Professional Committee, Louise visited the Clinical Skill Training Centre. She was deeply impressed by the scale of training and the quality of facilities. Then Louise visited the Enterostomal Skill Training Center and highly prized the Enterostomal professional training program. At last, Louise went to clinical departments, where she offered some guidance to wound related work.
