ACCP director visits WCH

From September 20 to September 24, 2017, Professor Michael Maddux, Executive Director of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), and Alan Lau, Director of International Programs, visited West China Hospital to explore possibilities on establishing cooperative training for pharmaceutical personnel.

Dr. Maddux and Dr. Lau conducted in-depth exchanges with representatives of Pharmacy, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases, and Infection Management to understand clinical, pharmaceutical and school-level evaluation of clinical pharmacy services, expectations and goals. Vice President Zeng Yong met with the guests and both parties expressed interests to cooperate in creating opportunities and conditions for pharmacist training in West China Hospital.

On September 23, two professors were invited to attend the Fourth Symposium on Chronic Disease Management co-organized by National Science and Technology Development Center of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, Sichuan Provincial Institute of Pharmaceutical Association, Chengdu Institute of Pharmaceutical Association and WCH.
