Prof. Archie Clements of Curtin University leads a delegation to visit West China Hospital

On the morning of June 10th, Archie Clements, Associate Dean of School of Health Sciences, Curtin University, Australia, and Mr. Jaya Dantas, Director of International Affairs, as well as relevant leaders from the School of Psychology, School of Public Health, School of Psychological and Sports Sciences, Institute of Autism Research, Department of General Medicine of the University, visited WCH. Deputy Party Secretary Shen Bin met with the guests in meeting room 3 of the administration building. Representatives of the Mental Health Center, Department of Rehabilitation, Department of General Practice, MRI Center and the International Office joined the meeting.

Mr. Shen said that WCH has carried out good cooperation with the School of Nursing of Curtin University. He hoped both sides could deepen understanding and find out ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of big data, nutrition, joint scientific research and joint training of students.

After listening to the detailed introduction about WCH, Mr. Archie praised and congratulated WCH's development and achievements, and also briefed the scale and research focuses of the School.

The two sides then exchanged and discussed existing achievement, challenges and the areas of interest in their respective fields, and reached initial cooperative intentions.
