Hospital Management Asia 2023 was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from September 4-7, 2023, with more than 1,000 delegates from 28 countries and regions attending the conference. The project "Innovative Emergency Response Model for Major Respiratory Infectious Diseases in Hospitals Based on Precision Flow Regulation" submitted by the Department of Infection Management of WCH was awarded the Excellence Award in the category of "Infection Control". 

This year's Excellence Awards attracted 117 hospitals from 12 countries and regions, with 297 projects competing for the award. This award makes WCH the only hospital in Mainland China to receive this honor. The Asian Hospital Management Annual Conference is an important event in the field of hospital management in the Asia-Pacific region, and the Asian Hospital Management Awards (AHMA), with a history of 20 years, has developed into one of the most prestigious hospital management awards in the Asia-Pacific region.
