"Nursing the World to Health, Promoting the Nursing Together" series online forum (the fourth session) was held in 5G Remote Conference Center recently.
Prof. Li Ka, Executive Dean of West China School of Nursing, Sichuan University, made a welcome speech and pointed out the importance of nurses in human health promotion and medical care services. She hoped that in the future, West China-Yale, West China-Pittsburgh, West China and domestic nursing schools would have more collaboration with regards to academic visits, online courses, joint postgraduate training, nursing education and research.
The forum brought together renowned experts in health care field to deliver keynote speeches, including Prof. Frederick L. Altice, Yale School of Medicine/School of Public Health, Prof. Canhua Xiao and Prof. LaRon E. Nelson, Yale School of Nursing, Prof. Sheila A. Alexander, University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, Prof. Haiou Xia, School of Nursing, Fudan University, Prof. Xuehong Wan, Executive Vice Dean of Graduate School, Sichuan University, Prof. Xiuying Hu, Director of West China Nursing Innovation Research Center/Sichuan Key Laboratory of Nursing, Sichuan University, and Prof. Guo Cheng, Director of the Department of Medical Discipline Construction, West China Medical Center, Sichuan University. The experts presented lectures on hot issues in the field of nursing from different areas, and provided new perspectives for clinical nursing, education, scientific research and interdisciplinary cooperation.
More than 2,000 people joined in this online conference.
