Nursing Experts from National University of Singapore and The University of Hong Kong visits WCH
Recently, Professor Liu Xiuqin, Deputy Director of Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and Professor Yu Xiufeng, Research Chair of the School of Nursing at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong, visited us for an academic exchange. Vice President Wang Kunjie of West China School of Medicine/West China Hospital, SCU, along with representatives from the International Office, the School of Nursing, and other relevant departments, as well as student representatives from the School of Nursing, participated in the exchange.

Vice President Wang Kunjie expressed his affirmation for the development of the nursing disciplines at the two universities and welcomed the visiting experts. He introduced the history, talent cultivation, and recent developments in nursing and other disciplines at West China School of Medicine. He hoped that this exchange would promote long-term cooperation among multiple parties in talent cultivation, scientific research, and discipline construction, and jointly build a world-class nursing discipline.
Deputy Director Liu Xiuqin and Chair Yu Xiufeng respectively introduced the nursing talent cultivation systems and scientific research at the National University of Singapore and The University of Hong Kong. They expressed their hope for further in-depth cooperation in the cultivation of high-quality innovative nursing talents.

Subsequently, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on joint student training, research collaboration, reciprocal faculty and student visits, and further education opportunities, and reached a consensus on cooperation.
