On July 11th, Craig Van Dyke, Honorary Director of the Psychiatric Department of the University of California, San Francisco, visited WCSM/WCH. The heads of the West China School of Nursing, and the representatives and backbone teachers of the International Office and the Mental Health Center attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Vice Director Zhang Fengying introduced the development history, supporting disciplines and achievements to Prof. Craig Van Dyke. Prof. Craig talked about his research direction, the cooperation with Sichuan University, and hoped to conduct more extensive academic and teaching exchange and cooperation with the School of Nursing.

Afterwards, both sides discussed cooperation contents such as mental health nursing and consultation services for students, cultivation of the psychological resilience of the clinical nursing staff, the psychological intervention for the nursing staff in the post-traumatic stress and the short-term teaching.
