Recently, the Sichuan Provincial Industry Innovation Center for Precision Medicine led by West China Hospital was approved by the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, becoming the first approved provincial-level industrial innovation center in the province.

The center is jointly initiated by WCH and 6 leading enterprises and investment institutions. Chengdu Huaxi Precision Medicine Industry Innovation Center Co., Ltd. will be the main operating body. The company will set up institutes or second-tier companies according to different business directions, including precision diagnosis, targeted drugs, cell therapy, medical artificial intelligence, biomedical materials, innovative medical devices, medical equipment, technology transformation, etc.
