On the morning of September 4, China Nursing Management Conference 2020, themed with “Mission, Responsibility and Growth”, and sponsored by Chinese Nursing Management magazine under the leadership of the National Institute of Hospital Administration, National Health Commission, was held in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, and attended by more than 2,300 people either offline or online.

West China Hospital’s Construction and Efficiency of the 4S Model-based Emergency Management System for Nursing COVID-19 Patients was granted special award of the 2020 Nursing Management Innovation Awards in fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The Construction and Efficiency of the 4S Model-based Emergency Management System for Nursing COVID-19 Patients aims to construct the management system in four aspects of staff, stuff, structure/space and systems on the basis of the nursing emergency management of WCH during the prevalence of the pandemic.

To create an innovative atmosphere and form an innovation system for the nursing sector, the magazine of Chinese Nursing Management launched the assessment process of the Nursing Management Innovation Awards at the beginning of 2020, in which 100 nation-wide hospitals participated; and after assessment and online public announcement, a total of six Special Awards, 11 Outstanding Awards, 26 Excellent Awards and 48 Recommendation Awards were selected in this event.
