On Nov. 12-13, as one of the academic activities of celebrating the 130th anniversary of the founding of WCH, the 2022 West China Summit Forum on Rheumatology Immunization and the Annual Rheumatology Immunization Meeting of Sichuan Immunology Society were held in Chengdu. Professor Li Weimin, president of WCH, and Professor Zhao Yan, chairman of the Rheumatology and Immunization Committee of the Chinese Medical Association, attended the forum and delivered speeches. This forum was conducted both online and offline, attracting more than 40,000 online viewers.

Many foreign scholars from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, the University of Chicago and the New York University, as well as the experts from the Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Peking University People’s Hospital, Shanghai Renji Hospital, Tsinghua University and many other well-known domestic hospitals and medical colleges conducted in-depth exchanges and shared experience with a couple of professors from WCH’s Department of Rheumatology and Immunology on the latest progress and academic hotspots of rheumatology and immunology.
