On February 18, 2023, the 2022 Clinical Nutrition Science Popularization Campaign and the national final of the 5th Clinical Nutrition Science Popularization Competition were held in Beijing. The video work “Breast Cancer Nutrition Tea Party” and the speech work “How to Treat Breast Cancer Scientifically” created by the team from the Clinical Nutrition Department won the titles of “Star of Science Popularization” in the video group and in the speech/talk show group respectively.

With the theme of “maintaining health and wonderful healthcare”, this event attracted 13 well-known clinical nutrition experts and professors from medical institutions across the country as guest judges. After passing the competitions in six major areas in China, the doctors of nutrition medicine and related specialties from all over the country formed 36 teams. They submitted 36 popular science works in video, micro-picture and text, speech/talk show, and other types of works. The final was broadcast live online, attracting over 400,000 viewers, thus arousing widespread concern in the national nutrition circle.
