She hoped that both sides could fully utilize technology-empowered methods such as telemedicine to achieve more fruitful results in future medical cooperation and exchanges.

Vice President Wang Kunjie stated that West China Hospital will continue to maintain an open and cooperative attitude, implement the national "Belt and Road" initiative, and with the support of the provincial government, further strengthen comprehensive cooperation with Indonesian and other ASEAN partners in medical care, education, scientific research, and other areas. We are committed to contributing to the construction of the Maritime Silk Road.

This consultation marked the first academic exchange between WCH and an Indonesian hospital. Moving forward, we will take this as an opportunity to continuously expand our cooperation with medical institutions in Indonesia and other ASEAN countries, explore more cooperation models, jointly promote the development of regional medical services, and build a closer "Belt and Road" medical cooperation community.
