On the evening of March 15, 2023, the Department of Academic Affairs at our school led the organization of the "Legal and Safety Education Conference" for all international students at our institution. The conference aimed to strengthen the legal education of international students in China, increase their awareness of compliance with laws and regulations, and standardize their behavior on campus. More than 350 students from 24 countries participated in the event. The conference invited leaders and frontline police officers from the Entry-Exit Administration, Anti-Drug Formations, Anti-Fraud Center of Chengdu Public Security Wuhou Bureau, and the Traffic Police Sub-bureau of the Chengdu Public Security Bureau to provide specialized lectures on legal education related to four aspects: entry-exit management, traffic safety, drug prevention, and telecom fraud prevention. In addition, our school's Safety and Security Department conducted campus safety training for students.

Through this conference, students at our school received answers to the issues they are generally concerned about in their studies and daily lives. Students also gained a deeper understanding of China's laws and regulations and increased their awareness of complying with relevant laws and regulations. Subsequently, our school will continue to communicate and collaborate with public security agencies to promote the establishment of a dynamic and coordinated management mechanism for students in cooperation with the police and work together to create a good atmosphere for students.
