On Nov. 20, “A Hundred Schools of Thought Contention” Hospital Discipline Construction Forum and the 2021 China Hospital Rankings Conference were held in Shanghai. At the meeting, the Hospital Management Institute of Fudan University officially released the 2021 China Hospital Rankings. WCH ranked second for 13 consecutive years, with a total score of 89.658, including reputation score of 69.658 and scientific research score of 20. In addition, the conference also released the reputation and comprehensive rankings of 42 specialties, and WCH’s 38 specialties participated in the rankings. Compared with the previous year, the comprehensive ranking of WCH’s ten specialties increased, while the reputation ranking of its five specialties rose.

In the comprehensive ranking of specialties, WCH’s 29 specialties ranked among Top 10 in China, 19 specialties among Top 5, and anesthesiology and radiology ranked first.
