Hosting Institute
Liver Transplant Center at West China Hospital, Sichuan University performs liver surgery, liver transplantation (DCD and living donor liver transplantation) and scientific research on biomarker of the hepatobiliary cancer. Our team pioneered to use minimally invasive surgery and other novel techniques to improve living donor liver transplant. Strong collaboration among the clinical departments (Hepatology, Hepatobiliary Surgery), Department of Pathology, Department of Oncology and Department of Radiology allows optimal patient management and fruitful research. The research lab on biomarkers in hepatobiliary cancer (head: Dr. Hong Wu) favors translational research. The combination of an inspiring academic institute and highly subspecialised hepatobiliary practice will make this three-week fellowship a unique experience for you to gain knowledge in minimally invasive liver surgery and liver transplantation.

Admission Eligibility
PLEASE NOTE
• The selected candidates will be asked to provide additional documents to the training center for administrative purposes.
• The selected visiting fellows are responsible for their health insurance and visa for which they should apply well in time in case of longer waiting periods.
• All applications will be carefully reviewed by the Expert Evaluation Committee after the submission deadline.
Duration of Fellowship and Funding
The three-week visits will take place from April 3rd, 2023 to April 23rd, 2023.
The flight tickets and accommodation expenses during the visit will be covered by the program.
