Recently, the establishment ceremony of the
China-Africa Hospital Alliance and the China-Africa Hospital Development
Conference, hosted by the International Exchange and Cooperation Center of the

countries such as Gabon, Zambia, Cameroon, São Tomé and Príncipe, and
Mauritius, ambassadors from multiple African countries to China, and over 300
Chinese and African hospital managers and medical professionals gathered
together to discuss the development of China-Africa health cooperation.
At the conference, the " China-Africa
Hospital Alliance Medical Imaging Consortium Working Group," co-led by West
China Hospital (WCH) and the Pan-African Congress of Radiology and Imaging, was
officially established. The working group is affiliated with the China-Africa
Hospital Alliance, with member countries including 42 African countries such as
Kenya, Zambia, and Morocco, as well as more than 10 Central Asian countries
such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Prof. Lui Su, director of the Department of
Radiology, and Prof. Li Zhenlin, deputy director, from WCH attended the
