Recently, European Resuscitation Council Congress-Resuscitation 2025 was held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The congress gathered experts and researchers from around the world in the field of resuscitation. The 2025 version of the new cardiopulmonary resuscitation guidelines was released at the conference, providing the most up-to-date evidence-based basis and practice standards for researchers and clinical medical workers in the field of resuscitation science and practice. Liu Zhihao, an associate professor from the Emergency Department of West China Hospital. Sichuan University, led the team to attend the conference and presented several important research results, demonstrating the international influence of our hospital in this field.

During the conference, our Emergency Department team systematically displayed the clinical treatment capacity, scientific research innovation ability and a series of important results of our hospital's Emergency Department in the whole process and multiple links of early identification of cardiac arrest, early treatment and post-resuscitation treatment to international peers in the form of poster communication. It aroused close attention and warm discussion among the participants, effectively enhancing the international influence of the emergency medicine discipline of our hospital, and making "Huaxi voice" and "Chinese contribution" to the global resuscitation field.
