On the morning of Nov. 17, a grand ceremony was held in the Jinjiang Great Hall to commend individuals and work units for their contributions to the campaign to curb COVID-9 and flood disaster relief in Sichuan Province. The Sichuan Provincial Government awarded 899 individuals, 300 work units, 120 CPC members and 100 advanced grassroots party organizations for their phenomenal deeds.

24 West China Hospital (WCH) staff including Vice President Zeng Yong won the honorary title “Sichuan Province COVID-19 Advanced Individual”. The WCH Party Committee and four other work units were awarded the honorary title “Sichuan Province COVID-19 Advanced Work Unit”. Moreover, the WCH Party Committee also was conferred the honorary title “Sichuan Province COVID-19 Advanced Grassroots Party Organization”. Two staff members including Dr. Bai Lang from WCH received the honorary title “Sichuan Province COVID-19 Outstanding CPC Member”.
