Aims and Scope

The Chinese Journal of Clinical Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (CN: 51-1492/R; ISSN: 1007-4848) is a monthly academic journal specializing in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. It is supervised by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, sponsored by Sichuan University, and hosted by West China Hospital of Sichuan University. The journal publishes content related to guidelines and norms, along with their interpretations, innovative theories and viewpoints, clinical research, basic research (including animal experiments), technological innovations, innovative research on medical devices, big data analysis from large-scale registries, and epidemiological investigations and data interpretations related to tumors and cardiovascular diseases. It covers the surgical and interventional diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases, esophageal diseases, mediastinal diseases, diaphragmatic diseases, pleural and chest wall diseases, and breast diseases, as well as the surgical and interventional diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart diseases, acquired heart diseases, and vascular diseases.
